TVs que tienen bajo input lag

Trate de comentar en el tema principal sobre el imput lag , pero no puede , me registre para decirles que ya estan comenzando a salir tvs que minimizan bastante el problema del imput lag


Toshiba Corp announced the "Regza Z2 series" of LCD TVs, the first TVs equipped with the newly-developed "Regza Engine Cevo" video processing system, March 2, 2011.

Toshiba has introduced today three new LED Backlight TVs and CEVO Engine with the Z2 Series. Available in 47” with the 47Z2, 42” (42Z2) and 37” (37Z2), this Full HD TVs comes with an IPS LED Backlight panel reaching up to 99% of the NTSC color space while previous models were only capable to reach up to 95% of the NTSC color space.
The Z2 series also includes many little nifty images tweaks as well as Toshiba state of the art technology including a newly developed dual core CEVO Engine allowing Toshiba to includes many different Video mode like the Anime Mode, Photo Mode and Video Game Mode where Toshiba claims thanks to the addition of FIFO technology (First In First Out) to suppress any delay in the Video Signal while connecting your PS3 or XBOX 360 to your TV Via HDMI, making the Z2 series as fast as any display found in most professional arcade cabinet!



Suited for Gaming

Toshiba reduced delay time, which is important for real-time games, from the 19.3ms (about 1.2 frames) of the Z1 to 11.9ms (about 0.7 frames). Also, it is possible to display the screen of a portable game console like the PSP on the screen of the Z2 in a larger size.

Asi que pronto esto pasara a ser un feature común en muchos tvs.

To develop the LCD monitor, Mitsubishi Electric classified TV games into three categories and, for each category, set a priority in regard to image quality improvement technologies. The three categories are (1) shooter games, music games and other games in which lags become a serious problem, (2) role-playing games, adventure games and other games that are played for a long period of time and (3) sports games, racing games, action games and other fast-moving games.

As for the first category, if there is a lag between movements such as firing a weapon and beating a drum and screen displays corresponding to the movements, it is a crucial problem. Therefore, Mitsubishi Electric put a priority on reducing the lag. And, for games in the first category, it does not use the double-speed interpolation technology, which can smoothly display movies but takes time to create interpolation images.

porque por ese lado es que en verdad lloran por Input Lag.

Aqui pueden ver un video de John Carmack hablando del imputlag, la entrevista dura 22mins , tiene muchos puntos interesantes.


Lo primero que recomiendo es una buena tv.
