TEKKEN MOVIE ......

Film blog Twitch has spotted the teaser poster for the upcoming Tekken movie on the official Warner Bros. Japan site for the film. We don't want to be overly cynical, but we've had our hearts broken so many times before that it's hard to get excited for any video game-based films -- no matter how spot-on Wushu martial artist Jon Foo looks as Tekken's Jin Kazama.

You know what else we're not fans of? The complete lack of Panda in the teaser poster (check it out after the break). We don't care if the character doesn't appear in the series until the third game, if we don't see an upright Panda punching someone in the face, there's no telling how upset we'll be.

UPDATE MAS INFO:

Budgeted at $35 million, "Tekken" is the upcoming martial arts feature directed by Dwight H. "Bones" Little, based on the "Tekken" fighting video game series.

The live-action film follows 'Jin Kazama' (Jon Foo) , who confronts both his father, 'Kazuya Mishima' (Ian Anthony Dale) and his grandfather, 'Heihachi Mishima' (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa).

"Tekken" is produced by Steven Paul Benedict Carver and Iddo Lampton Enochs from a screenplay by Michael Colleary, Alan B. McElroy and Mike Werb, adapting the original story, based on the Namco video game.

From the Weinstein Company, Summit Entertainment and Crystal Sky Pictures, Warner Bros will release the film in Japan, March, 2010.

A DVD release will follow April 5th, 2010 in the UK.

Para que veas lo mal que estás en cuanto a importancia de caracteres, Asuka Kazama es tán importante como lo es Sakura en Street Fighter. La analogía es perfecta y si quieres un equivalente a su eterna rival Karin, en nuestro lado se llama Lili.

Asuka es la peleadora marimacho que es de Kansai (por lo que tiene acento), es ultra cute y para completar...
Tiene buen busto (dentro de lo que es el standard japonés).

Tiene admiradores que eso no tiene nombre, así que más respeto a Asuka (se pronuncia Aska).
